Why General English Works
You learn a language by using it, not by reading about it. Our General English classes are deliberately built around communication: most of the lesson is you speaking, listening and writing, with the teacher correcting, prompting and adding vocabulary as you go. The grammar is there in the background — but it's the engine, not the destination.

How It Runs
The General English programme is offered on-campus in central London and online, with full-time and part-time schedules. A short placement test at the start puts you in a group at your level, and you move up groups as your level improves. Intakes run regularly throughout the year so you can start when it suits you.
